Head Office
Hungwe Wire & Rope Head Office is located at 29 Plumtree Road, Belmont, Bulawayo.
Commercial
The commercial division, headed by Mr Hope Tagarira, was established in 2004 to rationalise purchasing and marketing functions.
Lifting Cargo & Consumables
The Lifting, Cargo and Consumables Division was established to source and supply lifting equipment and accessories to complement Hungwe’s wire ropes.
Manufacturing
Located at its original home on Bessemer Street in Kwekwe’s industrial sites. The site covers an area of 10 hectares with installations that include administration buildings, wire rod storage area, descaling unit, wire-drawing and heat treatment section, ropery and fencing factory.
Technical Services
The Technical Services Division, is headquartered in Bulawayo under the management of Mr Tagarira. Its functions include proof-load testing of new and existing rope and other lifting equipment.
